Ingredients

1 Cup
Chickpeas (Garbanzos, canned, drained and rinsed)
0.75 Cup
Peas (Canned)
0.5
Red Onions (Chopped)
2 Clove
Garlic (Minced)
1 tbsp
Lemon Juice
0.25 Cup
Parsley (Chopped)
1.5 tsp
Cumin
0.25 tsp
Red Chilli Flakes
1 Dash
Sea Salt
1 Dash
Black Pepper
1 tsp
Baking Soda
2 tbsp
Almond Flour
2 tbsp
Olive Oil

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients (except the oil) in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until the mixture is
    well-combined, but not puréed.
  2. Heat about 1 inch of neutral oil in a skillet over medium heat, until it reaches 350°F.
  3. Meanwhile, form the mixture into small patties. Prepare a paper towel-lined baking sheet and set
    aside. Fry the patties in batches, a couple at a time, without crowding the pan. Cook, turning
    occasionally, until golden-brown, about 5 minutes. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet to cool.
    Repeat with the remaining patties, and then serve immediately.
